Wodonga Senior Secondary College Choir
Congratulations to the WSSC Choir who performed with an outstanding level of musical excellence at the St. John’s Choral Festival. They were awarded 1st placing and the St. John’s Festival Shield which will be displayed in the PAC. The adjudicator, Karen Robin spoke in glowing term’s regarding the Ensemble singing, Sensitive musicality and Interpretation of the Choral works. My thanks to all hard-working choir members; Choir Captain Kayla Van der Weyde and to Lisa Bektash and Matt Harper who accompanied the choir with great expertise. The Choir Swing Band and Year 10 Band will perform at the N.E Arts Festival on September 4th at the 11.90am concert. Parents and friends are invited to the final Concerts given by the Music Solo and Group VCE Music classes. Please contact Janet Turewicz and Adam Pica for further information regarding the VCE Concerts -Swing Band, Concert Band and Choral performances will be enjoyed. All are welcome to attend.
