- CSU PREP – Monday 31st August
- La Trobe SALT- Friday 11th September
University of Ballarat – Regional Education Entry:
This is a similar program to CSU’s PREP program, where successful students would be given a provisional offer in early December. To apply students need to go to the university’s website: www.ballarat.eduy.au/reep, as well as completing a VTAC application which includes a University of Ballarat course in the list of preferences. Applications open on the 30th August and we need to complete our recommendation, this receiving the application by the 10th October. See Sue Bell for a brochure.
Trainee Accountancy Positions:
Two of our local accountancy branches are seeking applicants for trainee positions to commence early January and at the same time start first Semester at CSU Albury in Bachelor of Business (Accounting). Support is offered by the companies in undertaking these university studies and at the same time gaining practical experience. See Sue Bell for further detail.
WHK has organised an information session for interested students on Thursday 3rd September from 6.00-7.30pm. at 491 Smollet Street, Albury.
Discovery Day Wollongong University -2010:
This is an early notice for current Year 11 students who would like to investigate the opportunities at this university. This trip is planned in the first week of Term 1 in 2010 over two days. This year the bus was paid by the university and accommodation cost of the 15 participating students $45 each. I assume it will be a similar offer this year. Please look out for further details as I gain the fine details from the university.
