Contractors, Volunteers and Visitors

Wodonga Federation of government Schools and its member schools recognises the important role contractors, volunteers and visitors have in supporting our students learning and wellbeing. This can either occur directly through programs with teachers and students or behind the scenes in helping maintain the best possible learning facilities for our students.

Providing a safe environment for students, staff, contractors, volunteers and visitors is of the most utmost importance for the Federation and its member schools.

All member schools are child safe schools and have a zero tolerance to child abuse.

Signing In and Out at Our Member Schools

Upon entering a member school all contractors, volunteers and visitors need to sign in via an iPad on the front desk. The sign in process will require you to supply your name, mobile number and other information (eg. Working with Children Check) depending on if you are a contractor, visitor or volunteer.

In the event of an emergency the member school will know that you are a person for whom they must account for.

All visitors, contractors and volunteers will be asked to read and agree to the Federation’s Child Safe Code of Conduct and if you are a volunteer or contractor you will be required to read and agree to the Federation’s OHS Induction and the member school’s site specific OHS information.

Once completing the sign in process you will be supplied with an identification label which must be worn while on the member schools grounds. A new identification label will be printed each time you sign into the school.

When leaving the school grounds please sign out via the iPad on the front deck.

Regular contractors and volunteers

Regular contractors and volunteers to a member school or multi Federation schools can request a quick pin for a faster sign in at each school.

Our information will be stored on the Federation’s online school visitor management software provided by Passtab.
