Over two days our student leaders have attended a VIC SRC student voice workshop, which focused on the ALTER model of planning, action and reflection. VIC SRC Presenter Kate Wylde said “These workshops help our student leaders to work collaboratively and provide them with the tools to tackle the issues that they may face in their school”. Kate spoke to the students about how they would approach someone in power to effectively communicate their ideas and how to speak with their teachers about the relevant problems that they have identified in their school.

The workshop provided the students with sound knowledge and a framework on how they should approach the their ideas to achieve a positive outcome.
