Dear Families and Caregivers,

Wodonga Federation of Government Schools is committed to making every effort to ensure your child has a successful transition from Kindergarten into Foundation in this challenging year.

Under the current School Operational Guidelines for COVID-19, schools are unable to run on-site transition programs. Therefore, your child’s primary school for 2021 will be implementing a virtual transition program.

In addition to the virtual transition program, all Wodonga Federation of Government Schools are continuing to plan to have 2021 Foundation students attend on-site for transition activities on Tuesday, 8 December or during this week, dependant on Health Advice. Further details will be confirmed by your school by Friday, 27 November. Until then, you will receive regular communication from your school about virtual activities and opportunities for you and your child. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your school directly.
